Crafting a Thoughtful, Immersive Experience for student well-being

York University has embraced innovative technology to improve access to well-being and mental health services in post-secondary education.


The creation of this platform required a multidisciplinary approach, blending innovation with technical precision. Every detail was carefully refined through key development stages, including 3D conceptualization, modelization, texturing, lighting and UV mapping. Additionally, the sound design—adds an immersive auditory dimension, further enhancing the user experience within this unique environment.

Profile

The profile is the part where the user can answer a questionnaire so that the platform can target their needs and propose personalized content. An interactive, playful and immersive interface with the symbol of the balance that each aspect of life constitutes for good mental health.

Concept, making of

From the design of the space, the modeling of the 3 different scenes, the textures, the lighting, the exports, right down to the camera movements and scrolls: This project required multiple technical and creative skills, in close collaboration with the development teams to ensure that everything was optimized for the web.
